LONE PINE KOALA SANCTUARY
Hold a koala (own cost) at the world’s oldest and largest koala sanctuary built in 1927 and showcasing about 100 Australian native animals. See koalas, kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, wombats, echidnas, reptiles and the only platypus in captivity. The platypus exhibit, houses two of these unique marsupial mammals in a million dollar enclosure.
MOUNT COOT-THA
The heritage listed lookout built in 1918 on One Tree Hill delivers breathtaking views of Brisbane City and suburbs right out to Moreton Bay on a perfect day. The Summit Kiosk and raised viewing platform are situated on the southern-most and highest point of the mountain.
